Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:
This position supports the daily functions of the HR department. Calvary Chapel must be your home church with regular attendance. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other HR documentation 
• Ensure compliance with any local, state, and federal laws and regulations, managing risk, and updating HR records to ensure they are accurate
• Perform administration tasks related to employee benefits including healthcare, paid time off, retirement plans, etc.
• Interview applicants and assist with other recruiting and onboarding duties
• Participate in employee training and development
• Learn and assist with all daily functions of the Human Resources department
• Available to assist all employees with various need, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)

Job Skills and Competencies:
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software
• Excellent documentation
• Strong communication, empathy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
• Handle all information confidentially and professionally
• Manage time effectively
