Job Summary:
Calvary Chapel Academy (CCA), a faith-based K-12 Christian private school, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support the developmental and educational needs of students. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs that help students develop the skills necessary for success in both academic and daily life settings, while integrating Christian principles into their practice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Evaluate students' functional abilities in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and handwriting to support their academic performance.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Adapt learning materials and classroom environments to accommodate students’ unique needs.
• Educate and train teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students with motor and sensory challenges.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 Plan meetings as needed.
• Offer guidance and support to parents, providing strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
• Promote a Christ-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that students receive care in a manner that reflects biblical values and the mission of the school.

Job Skills & Competencies:
 • Regular attendance at a Bible-believing church 
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure and certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory processing, developmental disorders, and learning disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
• Commitment to integrating Christian faith into professional practice.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to a positive school culture
