Job Summary:
Calvary Chapel Academy, a faith-based K-12 Christian private school, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the communication and language development of students. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders while integrating Christian principles into their practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills through assessments and screenings.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Adapt instructional materials and classroom environments to support students’ communication needs.
• Educate and train teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students with speech and language challenges.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 Plan meetings as needed.
• Offer guidance and support to parents, providing strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
• Promote a Christ-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that students receive care in a manner that reflects biblical values and the mission of the school.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Regular attendance at a Bible-believing church 
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and augmentative communication.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
• Commitment to integrating Christian faith into professional practice.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to a positive school culture.
