Job Summary:
This position is responsible for handling high level support of service requests for Calvary Chapel Academy; diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues; setup, removal and maintenance of end user workstations and network performance, meeting company and user requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with school administration to monitor and secure network and Wi-Fi access for students and staff (Proverbs 16:3)
• Manage CCA Help Desk tickets, assigning them to technicians as needed, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues (1 Corinthians 14:40)
• Provide friendly, courteous, and quality IT support for all users, prioritizing and responding to support requests effectively (Colossians 4:6)
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers and software, ensuring ongoing usability and performance (1 Peter 4:10)
• Work with administration to establish the annual IT budget and execute the school technology plan according to accreditation requirements (Galatians 6:9)
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
• Must have good technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly
• Basic knowledge and/or experience with projectors
• Previous IT helpdesk and ticketing system experience
• Knowledge of and experience with routers, switches, network connections and devices
• Computer Skills
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Print Server, and DHCP
• Advanced knowledge of G Suite and/or Google Classroom
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
• Learn and work with new technology
• Management of MDM solution
• Maintain confidentiality of all personal and company information (Philippians 2:4)
• Possess excellent writing and language skills; ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and graphical format
• Efficient task switching ability (Ephesians 4:3)
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of team
• Attention to detail
