Job Summary:
This position supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department. CALVARY CHAPEL MUST BE YOUR HOME CHURCH WITH REGULAR ATTENDANCE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Learn and assist with all daily functions of the Human Resources department (Philippians 2:4)
• Handle all information confidentially and professionally (Proverbs 11:13)
• Process biweekly payroll
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other HR documentation (Proverbs 16:3)
• Ensure compliance with any local, state, and federal laws and regulations, managing risk, and updating HR records to ensure they are accurate
• Perform administration tasks related to employee benefits such as healthcare (including invoice verifications), paid time off, retirement plans, etc. (1 Peter 4:10)
• Interview applicants and assist with other recruiting and onboarding duties
• Assist with employee training and development
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software
• Excellent math and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, exhibiting empathy and emotional intelligence (Ephesians 4:3)
• Able to manage time effectively

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
