Hours: 28 Hours (part-time)

The position includes a variety of responsibilities shared between two departments.

Purchasing Responsibilities:
Assist the Purchasing Department with the following duties
• Place orders searching for discounted or contract pricing
• Data entry/scan in Blackbaud
• Process and file paperwork
• Pick up ordered merchandise when requested (Sam’s, BJ’s, Cosco, Walmart, etc)
• Navigate Amazon online purchase system adding employees, approval paths, and finally approving or denying orders.
• Receive packages, maintain receiving log and manage distribution of goods once received
• Hand out office supplies and record dept., acct #, assuring inventory is sufficient.
• Cover receiving door during lunchtime relief
• Maintain recycling program monthly, taking recycling to Office Depot (10)
• May be asked to take over purchasing responsibilities when director is out of the office.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor 
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
• Weigh, measure and prepare packages for shipping
• Assist with receiving and sending of packages with UPS, Fed Ex, Vendors and USPS   
• Manage shipping sites
• Prepare shipping paperwork for accounting showing all transactions  
• Ability to lift 40 lbs    
Print Shop Responsibilities:
 Print, scan, and/or photocopy items requested by ministries notifying all parties when job is complete.
 Learn Print Shop machinery and fix problems as they arise –[ copiers, wide-format printer, folding machine, Docu-cutter 490, binding machine, foam board press] (Let the wise listen and add to their learning...Proverbs 1:5)
 Maintain inventories in Print Shop 
 Oversee:
o Judah house keys 
o Cargo van keys (Covenant bus) 
 Learn and utilize E-Space software for room and resource scheduling distributing weekly room schedule
 Keep print logs, room and resource spreadsheets current
 Learn Basecamp to find print file locations as needed
 Learn and utilize Microsoft Office Suit, plus Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat 
 Ability to edit graphics for minor errors in material sent to the Print Shop 
 Good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Take over print shop responsibilities when supervisor is out of the office
Skills:
• Able to multi-task and be flexible
• Know and effectively use Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 
• Proficiency in navigating internet
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail – follow directions well
